This Moroccan postage stamp, issued during the 1960s, features a vibrant illustration of an olive branch laden with ripe olives, symbolizing the nation’s deep-rooted agricultural heritage. At the lower left, a traditional olive press is depicted, highlighting Morocco’s centuries-old methods of olive oil production. Printed by Courvoisier S.A., the stamp carries the denomination of 0.60 Dirhams and includes inscriptions in both Arabic and French, reading “Royaume du Maroc” (Kingdom of Morocco). Designed by J. Dandine, it reflects Morocco’s pride in one of its most valuable and culturally significant crops. A fine thematic issue for collectors of agriculture, food, and Moroccan history.
