From the Saarburger Fuchs the 2021 Saar Riesling der Fuchs offers a pure, refined and bright bouquet with finely flinty notes. Intense, mouthfilling and round on the palate, this is a full-bodied, charming, persistent and quite substantial Riesling with a long and fruit-intense finish. The 2021 doesn't taste really dry but round and supple, with a serious touch of sweetness. However, due to its mineral base, this is a complex and mouth-filling Riesling cru in good balance and hope for further improvement during bottle age. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2023.
