WHY YOU NEED IT

The factory engine and transmission mounts are soft for reasons of comfort, designed for the corresponding engine performance and a typical everyday driving profile. These bearings quickly reach their limits in the case of vehicles with significantly increased performance or vehicles used in racing.

The consequences are a delayed implementation of gas commands, the influence of the engine movements on the vehicle dynamics during load changes and possible damage to additional units, hoses, cables and the exhaust system due to excessive engine movements. Incidentally, the factory engine and transmission bearings wear out particularly quickly as a result of these loads.

Due to the rigid connection between the engine, transmission and body, vibrations from these components are audibly passed on to the interior. We therefore recommend for your pumped-up daily hard engine and transmission mounts made of PU. These offer sufficient cushioning thanks to the use of hard polyurethane.
