The OBDSTAR CAN Direct Kit is a set of accessories developed for reading ECU data without the need to open the control unit. This kit is specifically designed to work with OBDSTAR key programmers, such as the Key Master DP Plus and the X300 DP Plus. The primary application is for key programming in situations where all keys are lost (All Keys Lost) for vehicles equipped with 4A/49 transponders, especially recent Toyota models.

The operation is based on directly connecting to the vehicle's CAN bus via the included jumper. This allows the IMMO data to be read directly from the ECU. This method eliminates the need for soldering on the circuit board or opening the ECU housing, simplifying the process and reducing the risk of damage. The kit enables users to perform the procedure for creating a new key without the original PIN code.
