The Jaltest JT2008 is a digital tachometer, designed to measure both rotational speed (RPM) and surface speed. This speedometer offers two measurement methods: a contactless optical measurement via a laser and a measurement through physical contact with the rotating object. The measurement range for the optical method is from 2.5 to 99,999 RPM, while the contact method has a range of 0.5 to 19,999 RPM.

The tester is equipped with a clearly readable LCD screen with backlighting that displays the measurement results. The built-in memory function automatically stores the last measured value, the maximum value, and the minimum value, so they can be recalled later. Additionally, the JT2008 features a data hold function to freeze the current measurement on the screen and an automatic range selection for correct display.

The Jaltest JT2008 is suitable for measurements on engines, machines, and other rotating parts in a workshop environment.

• Data hold function: Allows the current measurement value to be frozen on the screen for easy reading.
