Renowned artist René Gruau (1909-2004) created some of the most iconic fashion images of the 20th century. The main illustrator of luxury brand names, his style becomes the unavoidable blueprint for major names and industries worldwide. This 1954 Cinzano ad is a great example of his work. The red and black colours simply pop out of the page.
