5.6kW Off-Grid Solar Kit – 15kWh Pylontech US5000, 8x 425W Panels

This complete Voltacon off-grid solar kit is built around a Conversol MKS IV 5.6kW inverter-charger, three Pylontech US5000 lithium batteries providing 15kWh of usable storage, and eight 425W full black monocrystalline solar panels. The kit includes Solar Assistant monitoring, Victron Lynx distributor, full protection, cabling, and a motorised changeover switch for grid or generator backup. Designed and assembled by Voltacon in the UK, supplied palletised with a wiring diagram and UK technical support.

Product Overview

The MKS IV inverter charges the Pylontech battery bank directly from the solar panels via its single MPPT input. Additional panels can be added up to the 6kW PV input limit without changing the inverter. The three US5000 batteries communicate with the inverter via the BMS communication cable, enabling automatic charge and discharge management.

The motorised changeover switch allows the system to switch automatically between off-grid solar supply and a grid or generator source when battery charge falls below the configured threshold, providing continuity of supply without manual intervention.

The Victron Lynx Distributor handles DC bus distribution with integrated fusing, providing a clean and safe connection point for the battery cables and inverter DC inputs.

The mounting structure included is an adjustable triangle bracket for flat surface or ground installation. Contact us before ordering if a different mounting arrangement is required and we will accommodate it at no extra cost.
