The Rab Women's Mythic Alpine Light Jacket is the next generation of high spec down insulation that combines the warmth and pack-ability of down with strategic placement of synthetic insulation. The Mythic Alpine Light features ultra light materials and super fine 900FP hydrophobic treated down.

The Mythic Alpine Light is constructed from super light 10 denier Recycled Pertex Quantum Nylon ripstop outer and liner. This super light fabric is down proof and packable and has a flurocarbon free DWR finish for weatherproofing. The insulation is 900 fill power European Goose Down with a Nikwax flurocarbon free hydrophobic finish. This does not make the down waterproof, but it improves its performance in damper conditions. 900FP is some of the highest performance down on the market. The super fine down feathers are very compressible for a small pack size but will loft out fully very rapidly when you need that quick warm layer.

High wear areas like the shoulders, sides of the hood and cuffs are filled with PrimaLoft Gold synthetic insulation so they are unaffected by dampness and compression. The Mythic Alpine jacket features a helmet compatible down filled hood for when you really need to keep the elements out on a cold belay. The sleeves are pre curved and articulated for freedom of movement and reduced riding up while climbing. The cuffs are part elasticated to seal out the cold and the hem can be adjusted at both sides with an anti-snag tether.
