This Spark Plug Tester offers various specific diagnostic functions for assessing disassembled spark plugs on the workbench.

• Frequency Simulation: Simulating engine speeds between 200 and 9000 RPM. This is used to check whether the spark plug remains stable at higher loads and frequencies or if flashover occurs.
• Comparative Diagnosis: Simultaneous activation of multiple spark plugs. By placing a new or properly functioning reference spark plug in the designated port, the spark pattern (color and intensity) can be directly compared with the suspect plugs.
• Visual Flashover Inspection: Assessing the spark formation between the center electrode and ground electrode to detect insulation damage or contamination that leads to leakage currents.

• RPM Display: A digital display shows the exact currently set frequency in revolutions per minute. This ensures reproducible test conditions when specific engine speeds need to be simulated.
