The Rab Solar Eco sleeping bags are performance synthetic fill sleeping bags made from 100% recycled materials. They feature clever internal construction to maximise the warmth provided by the synthetic sheet insulation while maintaining a compact pack size.

The super lightweight 20 Denier Atmos Recycled Ripstop Nylon outer is DWR treated for water resistance. The top side of the bag uses dual layer Stratus Synthetic Sheet insulation made from recycled Polyester. The dual layer top side is arranged in a concertina style to maximise loft and trap warm air. The underside of the bag is insulated with a dual layer of the same insulation. This insulation would be compressed by your body weight and underside heat loss is best managed with a warm sleeping mat.

The bag has a Mummy Taper shape, more tapered in the upper body/leg areas so it minimises weight and enhances thermal performance. Inside the bag there is an anti snag zip guard to prevent the zipper catching on the lining when you are zipping it up in a hurry inside a dark tent.

The Solar Eco 2 is a 2 season bag with an EN limit of -1 °C. Rab suggest a sleep limit of -2 °C making it an excellent sub 1kg bag for shoulder season bivi trips. The synthetic insulation will keep you warm even in wet conditions making it ideal for changeable UK conditions.
