This hand-knotted wool antique Persian Bakhtiari rug features a
triple medallion composed of an eight-point star in burgundy placed on-top of a
creamy-vanilla beige sixteen-point medallion which is then placed on-top of a
sixteen-point cornflower medallion. The triple medallion stands out on an
abrashed field of raspberry-rose surrounded by an allover rectilinear pattern
composed of palmettes, feathers, serrated leaves, roundel flowers, stylized florals
and vine scrolls. It is enclosed with lavish dark spandrels and framed by a
unique weeping willow and tree of life border, flanked by meandering rosette
guard borders. This beautiful antique Bakhtiari rug will add a touch of exotic
Persian opulence to nearly any living area. Rendered in variegated shades of
burgundy, rose, light pink, raspberry red, cream, cornflower blue, cerulean,
