The Victron Skylla-TG 24/100 (1+1) is a high power, three-phase compatible battery charger designed for 24V battery systems requiring up to 100A of charge current. Built for professional and industrial applications, it suits marine, off-grid, and heavy-duty standby installations where reliable, high-current charging is essential.
The Skylla-TG range is Victron's high power transformer-based charger series, designed where reliability and output consistency under continuous load are priorities. The 24/100 (1+1) variant delivers 100A to the primary battery bank and provides a separate output for a secondary bank, making it well suited to dual-bank setups common in commercial marine vessels, large vehicles, and industrial standby systems.
The (1+1) topology means the two outputs are independently regulated. The main output handles bulk, absorption and float charging, while the auxiliary output maintains a secondary bank at float voltage. This avoids the need for a separate trickle charger and keeps both banks in good condition without manual intervention.
Victron's adaptive charging algorithm monitors battery behaviour over successive charge cycles and adjusts the absorption time accordingly. This is particularly useful in applications where discharge depth varies significantly between cycles. The charger also accepts an external battery temperature sensor, allowing the charge voltage to be corrected for ambient temperature, which is important in installations where the battery compartment experiences wide temperature swings.

Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or marine electrical engineer familiar with high-current DC systems. The unit must be connected to a correctly rated AC supply with appropriate overcurrent protection. DC output cabling must be sized for 100A continuous current and kept as short as practicable to minimise voltage drop. For marine installations, compliance with applicable ISO and NMEA wiring standards is recommended. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit during operation. If integrating with Victron VE.Bus or a GX monitoring device, refer to Victron's system design guidelines for correct configuration.
