The Autel APB112 Smart Key Emulator is an accessory for key programming that works with Autel diagnostic platforms such as the IM508, IM608, and the XP400/XP400 Pro key programmer. The device emulates a smart key and is used to read, collect, and temporarily store transponder data from an existing key. This allows the technician to reconstruct the EEPROM data package of an original key when a physical key is missing or damaged.

The device connects via USB to the Autel tablet or XP400 programmer and functions as a signal source to the vehicle. During a key replacement procedure, the APB112 simulates communication with the immobilizer (IMMO), allowing the diagnostic platform to calculate the PIN code, secret key, and associated EEPROM data. This speeds up All Keys Lost procedures and key learning routines on compatible vehicle models.
