The Stress BMX Wolfgrip tyre composition includes a race compound — One of the most technologically advanced and expensive rubber compounds on the market. This compound has two main characteristics that distinguish it from other tyres: Extremely low weight and the highest wear resistance. The Wolfgrip tyre weighs 595 grams (21 oz) in steel bead version, which is one of the best tyre specs on the market.
 
Grip is equally important for having a comfortable ride. Thanks to the race compound, the Wolfgrip tyre maintains its traction even after the knurling is completely worn down.
 
Under the Wolfgrip tread, a lightweight anti-puncture layer made using COBWEB technology is integrated. This technology provides fantastic puncture protection while keeping the tyre weight low. Low weight is obtained due to the fact that the layer is used only in those spots where it is needed, and not over the entire surface of the tyre
 
There is a sidewall protector rib on the Wolfgrip tyre. With this scuff rib, the tire engages with the ledges when performing grind tricks, and does not catch any bumps with its tread. Additionally, the Wolfgrip sidewalls are made of a stiffer rubber then the top to avoid tears and cuts from sharp ledges.
