An original adjustable vintage surveyor's tripod that would have been used to provide a stable, elevated platform for surveying instruments. Today it could be used to support a vintage light like an old school theatre spotlight. 

The tripod stand is adjustable from 105cm to 173cm.

The top has a fixing point, but we do not know its size.
