Ventolin Evohaler contains the active ingredient Salbutamol sulphate. It belongs to a family of drugs called bronchodilators. Salbutamol is a fast-acting bronchodilator which helps the airways in your lungs to stay open. It helps to relieve chest tightness, wheezing and cough. Ventolin is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). 

Ventolin Evohaler contains a propellant, HFA134a, which is significantly less environmentally harmful than older inhalers.

Important: A maximum of one inhaler can be prescribed every two months, subject to strict consultation and at the prescriber's discretion. A maximum of six inhalers can be prescribed per twelve months.
