About Urinary Tract Support: The urinary system is a major waterway of the body, and its preferred state is one that is moist and cool. Urinary Tract Support is a unique blend of herbs that offer specific support, encouraging healthy immune function for the overall terrain and tissue of the urinary tract.

This blend is best taken short-term and combined with intentional lifestyle choices. To add further support for a healthy urinary tract while taking this product, drink plenty of room temperature water. Avoid sugar (white or brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, fruit juices), caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, and processed foods. Combine with one of our nervine and stress support tinctures and try to get plenty of rest. For longer-term support, consider Urinary Tract Tonic.

Garden Notes: We encourage a lovely bed of Chickweed to grow and spread in a shaded part of our gardens. Corn Silk comes from a local organic corn grower. We grow, hand-dig, and tincture Echinacea root, a wonderful herb that is added into this blend. Yerba Mansa, a special plant, is sent to us from the Southwest. And after the first frost in fall, Deb hikes up to a special nearby ledge on a friend's wild land, and hand-gathers the creeping Uva Ursi vines. This harvest marks the end of our plant harvests.

Plant Profiles:

• Chickweed (Stellaria media) - This low-growing moist and succulent herb offers valuable demulcent support to mucous membranes and is mineral-rich. Cooling to the tissues and gently encouraging of urination.
• Corn Silk (Zea mays) - The same Corn that we enjoy on our plates offers us deep support through its soft yellow silks. It is these silks, not the kernels, that we use in this formula for their extraordinarily soothing and moistening qualities that encourage comfort, specifically for the urinary system.
• Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) - A tingly and immune stimulating root, also known as Purple Coneflower, Echinacea encourages a healthy immune system while supporting lymphatic function.
• Uva Ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) - This low growing red-fruited plant prefers higher elevations and may have gotten its name from the bears who enjoy its grape-shaped berries in the spring when they emerge from hibernation. Clearing and supportive to immune function, with a special affinity for urinary tract health and function.
• Yerba Mansa (Anemopsis californica) - A wet-footed, shade loving plant endemic to the Southwestern United States. Yerba Mansa promotes a healthy immune system, supports healthy tissue integrity of the urinary tract, and encourages healthy flow of the waters of the body. 

Servings: 15 per 1oz bottle.

Serving Size: 40 drops (2ml).

Suggested Use: Add 20-40 drops to 1 ounce of water 3 times/day for a 48 hours period, followed by 20 drops 3 times/day for 7-10 days.
