Best Practices: Do's & Don'ts
Do
- Apply on clean, dry, solid substrates like glass, metal, and ceramics
- Use backing rod for deep joints to avoid three-point adhesion
- Tool immediately with a putty knife before skin forms
- Store between +5°C and +25°C to maintain product performance
- Use in temperature conditions between +5°C and +35°C
Don't
- Don't apply on bitumen, EPDM, HDPE, natural rubber, PE, or oily plastics
- Avoid applying on wet, frozen, or continuously immersed surfaces
- Don’t tool after skinning begins – it may compromise the finish
- Avoid solvent or alcohol-based surface cleaners during curing
- Do not paint until fully cured – test with paints beforehand
