The TCRT5000 tracking module uses an infrared reflection sensor to detect lines, obstacles, and reflective surfaces. Working Principle

The TCRT5000 emits continuous infrared light. When an object or reflective surface is detected, the reflected infrared beam is captured by the receiver, producing a high-level output signal. If no object is detected or the reflection is weak, the output remains low.

Wiring

• VCC: Connect to 5V power supply.
• GND: Connect to ground.
• OUT: Digital signal output (0 = no detection, 1 = detection).
