This is a small, terrestrial, insectivorous, crepuscular/nocturnal gecko native to northeastern Pakistan, inhabiting desert and dry scrubland. In captivity, they do well when kept in groups, provided the available space is sufficient. Captive care is straightforward. They require no special lighting (though there is nothing wrong with providing UVB access); however, they require dry conditions and temperatures in the upper 70s to mid-80s (°F), with the ability to access a hot spot of 90-100°F. A portion of the enclosure should be lightly sprayed once or more per week, depending on ventilation conditions. As with other insectivorous lizards, feeders should be gut-loaded and dusted with reptile vitamin supplements, including calcium and vitamin D.
