AJA HD/SD SDI Distribution Amplifier/Repeater

The AJA HD/SD SDI Distribution Amplifier/Repeater is a miniature 1x4 unit that takes a single HD-SDI or SDI input and feeds four separately buffered outputs. It is a low cost answer for sending one serial digital signal to multiple monitors, recorders, or downstream devices, and its small footprint fits behind a monitor, in the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig.

Automatic input cable equalization recovers signals over runs up to 100 meters, and the unit adapts on its own to 143, 177, 270, and 360 Mb plus 1.5 Gb rates, also serving as a low cost repeater. Return loss is better than 15 dB to 270 MHz, power draw is 2.5 watts from the included supply, and a locking power connector keeps the unit from accidentally coming unplugged.
