This fourth volume like the earlier three volumes, contains papers and lectures presented at various forums from2006 to 2008. The last section has short essays related to issues and concerns affecting Tsinoys.

This volume is not meant merely as an academic exercise but is published in relation to Kaisa Heritage Center and Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran roles as social activists. The main objective is to impart knowledge and enhance understanding about the Tsinoy community and the many and rapid changes that have happened to the Tsinoys through time.

The essays cover various issues that affect Tsinoy life, its role and impact on mainstream Philippine society. Some of the essays raise more questions than answers regarding pressing issues and concerns that affect Tsinoy community. It is to be hoped that such issues can provide insights for further discussions and reflection.
