Elgato Cam Link 4K turns a DSLR, mirrorless camera, camcorder, or GoPro into a high-quality USB webcam for streaming, meetings, and recording. Any camera with clean, unencrypted HDMI output and unlimited runtime appears to a PC or Mac as a standard webcam, working out of the box in apps from OBS Studio to Zoom, Teams, Twitch, Discord, and FaceTime.

Capture runs at up to 4K60 (MJPG), 4K30, or 1080p60, with ultra-low latency keeping audio and video in sync. The pocket-sized unit weighs just 20 g, connects through a USB 3.0 port, and ships with a 30 cm USB-C extension cable for added reach. It can also turn an iPad into a field monitor for framing and focus, with macOS 13 or iPadOS 17 or later supported.
