I don't wear hats much, but I'm quite tempted to wear this thing around, which I must say makes one feel rather powerful and also as if well protected by forces of the universe! I believe it is likely masonic, and perhaps an additional head-covering was meant to be sewn onto it, I'm not certain. The green fabric looks like silk to me, and the moon and stars are gold paper, well adhered. To me quite a special feeling thing, and if nothing else, quite a nice birthday crown!

11 3/4" x 5 1/16" laid flat. There seems to be lightweight cardboard inside the front, giving it its shape. A few small stains to the fabric and a bit of light wear to the moon and stars, but overall very good condition and very sweet.
