From the 1960s on, urban Tehran workshops produced this composition at scale for the domestic market, then later for export. How it feels in a room

Conversational. The warm red ground draws people toward the centre — living rooms with the seating arranged around the rug benefit from the gathering effect. Reads richest under warm incandescent; under cool LED the red flattens slightly but stays warm enough to anchor.

Not a machine-washable rug. Vacuum weekly. The dense red field hides everyday traffic well; minor wear is not visible. Blot spills promptly with a clean dry cloth. Professional clean every 24 months.
