• Reduces water spotting and can be used without rinsing when used at the recommended dilution.

Instructions

• Thoroughly clean surfaces with PBW or compatible cleaner.
• Mix 15 ml Star San for every Litre of water.
• Apply on surface with cloth, mop, sponge, spray, or immersion.
• If using spray application, use a coarse mist, pump, or trigger sprayer and spray 15 - 20 cm from surface and follow up with a brush or sponge.
• Allow for contact time of at least 1-2 minutes.
• Drain, but do not rinse.

• Q. Why is my Star San cloudy?
• A. Cloudiness in Star San may be because it is over a year old or because of hard water minerals reacting to the chemical.The appearance of your mixed StarSan solution should be clear and the pH should be at 3.5 or lower. When the Star-San gets cloudy, the detergent is becoming ineffective and the Star-San solution won’t kill properly. Don’t assume that cleanliness or smell indicates the StarSan is still in working condition.

• Q. How long is Star San good for once it’s mixed into a solution?

• A. Star San is an EPAs registered sanitizer and must be used immediately. We do not recommend using it if has been in solution longer than an hour.

• Q.Can I use Star San to sanitize my pets accessories?
• A.No, Star San is hazardous to animals.

• Q. Is Star San septic safe?
• A. Yes, but when disposing of the chemical you will want to have the water running to ensure that it is heavily diluted. Once the bottle is empty have the water run for another minute or two.
