The seven minute centrepiece ‘Someone’s in the Wolf’ is one of the best songs the band has ever written, taking the ‘Robot rock’ principle of the first album and tinged it with tritones and slide guitars to make a song that borders on scary. The hit singles from the album are incredibly strong, with the tongue in cheek horror of Burn the Witch and the cowbell groove of ‘Little Sister’. The gothic atmosphere is also applied to the band’s trademark fusion of psychedelia and motorik punk on songs such as ‘Everybody Knows that You’re Insane’.
