Perfumer’s Inspiration:
A unique work around a precious seed, not much used in perfumery because of its high cost, the ambrette seed, also known as hibiscus. According to Marc-Antoine, it is the most luminous ingredient in perfumery, and therefore the main axis of the fragrance. Ambrette naturally has eau de vie, pear and musk facets (it is a true vegetal musk), as well as powdery and woody facets. Associated with a particularly bright essence of Turkish rose, Florentine iris adds body, clarity and limpidity.
