• Is this cleanser suitable for daily usage?

  Yes, it is formulated with 4% gentle exfoliant and soothing ingredients that may cancel out any irritation. It gently exfoliates without over-drying or irritating the skin. This cleanser is also suitable for daily usage because DDC does not stay on the skin long enough to cause any severe dryness or skin reaction, but is able to help with the clarity of the skin and unclog the pores from impurities.

• Can I use this cleanser twice a day?

  You can use it in the morning and or in the evening depending on your skin as your mileage may vary (YMMV). However, if you are new to exfoliating cleansers or on the drier/combination side of the skin, you may want to introduce the cleanser slowly and gradually. Salicylic acid content in the cleanser may lead to dryness if used too often on a newly introduced skin.

• Can I combine it with other exfoliating acids or active ingredients in the same routine?

  If you are a beginner to exfoliating acids, you may alternate the usage of exfoliating toner and DDC and try to avoid using it in the same routine. This is based on your mileage as it may vary between others (YMMV).

  If you are used to exfoliating acids daily, and mixing 2 active ingredients in one routine does not irritate your skin, you may continue.

  If you experience irritations, breakout or stinging sensation, those are signs of over-exfoliating. This may happen if you include more than 5% acid daily which may break your skin barrier. Instantly stop usage of any active ingredients to recover from over-exfoliating.

• What is the suitable acid concentration for daily use?

  Suitable acid concentration for daily use is not more than 5%. If the concentration is 10% and above, keep it for 2-3 times a week and if it above 15% may need to be kept only for a few minutes and then wiped off.

• Is it safe for pregnancy and lactating mothers?

  Yes, it is safe for pregnancy as it contains safe active ingredients that are gentle for the skin and cleanser is a wash-off product thus only a little amount is absorbed into the skin therefore it is not known to cause any risk in pregnancy.
