Ideal Water Parameters & Care Instructions:

• Water Conditions: Stability is key. Aim for at least 8 GH, 4 KH, and a temperature between 68-78°F (20-26°C) for optimal shrimp health.
• Nitrate: Maintain nitrate levels below 20 ppm. Employ heavy planting to keep nitrates low.
• Stability: Shrimp do best when things change as little as possible. They can tolerate a wide range of conditions, but only if acclimated properly. Your tank's water parameters should remain stable and not rapidly change. Planting is especially helpful in keeping nitrates low and minimizing the need for water changes. Relying solely on water changes to keep nitrates below 20 ppm will stress your shrimp, and ultimately lead to failure.

Water Parameters:

For best results, try to replicate the water parameters in which shrimp are bred prior to introducing to your aquarium. Snowball Shrimp are bred within the following water parameters:

• GH: 8-12
• KH: 2-7
• Nitrates: <20 ppm
• pH: 6.9-7.6
