This two‑piece walking ensemble or street costume, dating to ca. 1910 and originating from France, is a beautifully crafted example of early 20th‑century daywear. The antique outfit consists of an elongated jacket and a long skirt, both richly embroidered with a floral motif, reflecting the refined elegance of the Belle Époque.

The jacket closes at the front with three large mother‑of‑pearl buttons and features long sleeves with wide cuffs. The skirt fastens at the side with press studs, which have been moved at some point—still faintly visible upon close inspection. The back of the skirt may include inserted fabric, though this could equally be a decorative design element; in either case, it lies beneath the jacket and is barely visible when worn.

The ensemble is in good to very good condition. The lining of the jacket is coming loose at the bottom hem, requiring only simple resewing. There are discreet signs of wear, consistent with age and use. Umbrella, blouse, and brooch shown in photos are not included.
