This is from a later Jean Muir label and I suspect it was a short-lived diffusion line. From a collectors point of view it does not hold the same value as say her early work from the 70s but from a wearability point of view it's kind of amazing. It is made of a silky viscose that is meant to have the appearance of silk and plays on her love of using soft, flowing fabrics. The color is amazing and I love the brilliant, true emerald tone chosen for it. Everything about it is easy to wear and has great lines. The pants have an elastic waist so just slip on. The legs are cut wide and easy, so once on they feel like nothing and are insanely comfortable. The top is a simple wrap affair with sleeves and a front that extends into very. very long, wide ties - these simply cross in front and wrap. I have left the ends streaming down the back but you could wrap them so they fall at the front or really wrap them several times to give it more coverage. You could also wrap it to make it more of a crop top as well. It is a great set with lots of versatility. Excellent condition

Both pieces are unlined. The pants slip on with an elastic waist and the top ties to close. Tagged a UK8/US6 but the cut will allow it to go up or down a size with ease.
