The Condor HT Holster mounts horizontally on any MOLLE platform and wraps around pistols equipped with a laser or flashlight attachment, accommodating barrels up to 5 inches. At 4.25" H x 8" W x 1.5" D, it keeps a full-size equipped sidearm tight to the body — close to the hands when transitioning from a long gun — without the bulk of a drop-leg or hip holster. Available in Olive Drab, Black, and Coyote Brown.
The HT Holster attaches to any standard MOLLE (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) webbing via horizontal mounting — positioning the pistol grip forward rather than vertically, which reduces the draw height when a plate carrier or chest rig is being worn. The wrap-around clamshell design fits pistols with a barrel length of up to 5 inches and accepts frames fitted with a laser or flashlight mount on the accessory rail. A dedicated hook-and-loop retention strap secures the weapon in the holster after it is seated.
Retention comes from two sources: the wrap-around body of the holster, which closes snugly around the pistol frame and any attached accessories, and an additional hook-and-loop strap that cinches over the weapon. The strap provides a secondary retention point against unintentional draw under movement or inversion, while still allowing a deliberate single-motion release when needed.
It works with any MOLLE-compatible vest, plate carrier, chest rig, or pack panel. The horizontal mounting orientation positions the pistol grip forward for faster access when a body armor system is worn. The wrap-around fit accommodates most full-size and compact pistols with a rail-mounted light or laser and a barrel no longer than 5 inches.
No — the wrap-around design was built to accommodate the added bulk of a light or laser, but a pistol without those accessories will also fit. The holster dimensions are 4.25" H x 8" W x 1.5" D, so a bare pistol with a 5-inch or shorter barrel will seat correctly.
The holster body wraps around the pistol and its mounted accessories to create a friction fit. A separate hook-and-loop strap then cinches over the weapon as a secondary retention point. To draw, release the strap and clear the holster. The two-stage system keeps the pistol secure during active movement without requiring a button or lever press.
It depends on available MOLLE real estate and cummerbund placement. The holster mounts horizontally and measures 8 inches wide, so it requires a continuous run of MOLLE columns in that orientation. Most plate carriers with front or cummerbund MOLLE panels will accommodate it. Contact us if you need help confirming fitment with a specific carrier before ordering.
A vertical holster hangs the pistol grip-down, which can place the grip at chin level when a carrier is worn — awkward to draw quickly. Horizontal mounting rotates the pistol 90 degrees so the grip faces forward, putting it roughly at chest height and within easy reach during a rifle-to-pistol transition without bending the wrist at an extreme angle.
The vendor page does not specify ambidextrous or dominant-hand-specific orientation. Contact us before ordering if left-hand draw configuration is a requirement for your setup.
