Materials:
The upstream and downstream pressure gauges are required by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). A relief valve of not less than 1/2 inch in size must be installed on the downstream side of the Zurn 4-ZW209FPG. Adequate drainage for the relief valve discharge must be provided. The valve should be installed horizontally with the valve cover up. Flow calculations are based on flow through schedule 40 pipe with maximum continuous flow approximately 20 ft/sec and maximum intermittent flow 25 ft/sec.

Features & Benefits:
Q: What is the adjustable pressure range for the Wilkins 4-ZW209FPG?
A: The pilot spring range is field adjustable from 50 to 165 psi residual pressure with a maximum static pressure rating of 175 psi.
Q: What is the minimum flow rate required to set this valve?
A: The 4 inch Zurn 4-ZW209FPG requires a minimum flow rate of 100 GPM to properly set the valve, with a minimum operating flow of 4 GPM and maximum flow capacity of 1000 GPM.
Q: Can this valve be installed vertically?
A: The recommended installation orientation is horizontal with the valve cover up. Vertical installation is not recommended for 6 inch and larger valves due to difficulty in bleeding air and performing maintenance.
NOTICE: Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection either before or after the system.
