If you're the kind of climber or ski tourer who sheds grams like a maple tree in autumn, Petzl's Sirocco Helmet would like a quick word. Offering just a ridiculous weight-to-protection ratio, the Sicorro barely registers on the scale at a svelte 170 g, all on account of a hybrid construction with an EPP foam shell and rigid crown injected with EPS foam. Alphabet soup, no doubt, but rest assured this lid is designed for optimal protection against side, front, and rear impacts. Indeed, its also a CE-certified ski touring helmet (not alpine)!

Petzl has increased the Sicorro's volume for more comfort, while maintaining the epic ventilation its always boasted. A headband and chin strap (with a clever magnetic buckle) offer complete adjustability, while two clips up front and a rear elastic band secures a headlamp.
