For cable routing, keep cable lengths short and choose sufficient cross section. Example: 100 A through 50 mm² (AWG 0) over 10 m results in ~0.26 V drop; 50 A through 10 mm² (AWG 7) over 5 m results in ~0.35 V drop.

The alternator energise input is current-limited to power B+ when the engine run/stop switch is closed.
