Mode of Action

Nitrogen Fixation:

• Azotobacter spp. enhances nitrogen uptake by fixing atmospheric nitrogen and converting it into forms usable by plants.
• Produces plant growth hormones like IAA(indole-3-acetic acid)  and GA(gibberellic acid), as well as vitamins, to promote better uptake of nutrients such as NO₃, NH₄, H₂PO₄, K, and Fe.
• Azospirillum acts as an associative micro-aerobic nitrogen fixer, improving nitrogen availability by stimulating plant roots to secrete mucilage, which creates a favorable environment for nitrogen fixation.

Phosphorus Solubilization:

• Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) secrete organic acids (e.g., gluconic acid, formic acid, glutamic acid, lactic acid, citrate, and malic acid) that reduce soil pH and convert unavailable phosphorus in the soil into plant-available forms.

Potassium Mobilization:

• Potassium Mobilizing Bacteria (KMB) release potassium from its fixed and unavailable forms in the soil, making it accessible to plants.
• Activates numerous enzyme systems involved in the synthesis of organic compounds and proteins, enhancing the quality and shelf life of fruits and vegetables.
