The 1000 series is a 2-7/8" profile, electromagnetic lock with 1200 lbs of holding force for use on a standard sized door or industrial applications.  Both 12V and 24V operation. 340mA@12VDC. Made in USA with quality American made steel which eliminates residual magnetism when releasing the door.  Includes a separate base plate for easy mounting before applying the lock itself.  Stainless steel one-piece finish.  Weatherproof, lifetime manufacturer's warranty.  1/2" Conduit fitting option available.

Various mounting brackets available for complicated installations. For special mounting brackets and accessories not in the catalog, request those in the order comments and we will revise your order.  Maglocks used in buildings require additional hardware to be fire code compliant; if you are unfamiliar with these arrangements, consider purchasing a maglock kit from our catalog or consulting with us.  

The Door Position Switch (DPS) option is a switch that signals if the door is open or closed.
