Built for daily prep work, this acacia end grain cutting board protects knife edges thanks to its end grain construction, where blades land between vertical wood fibres rather than slicing across them. Edges stay sharper for longer, and the surface resists deep cut marks even after repeated chopping. Acacia is naturally less porous than many hardwoods, so it absorbs less moisture and resists bacterial growth.
The board measures 50 x 35 x 4cm with cut-out handles for easy lifting, and its heavy-weight construction keeps it firmly in place while chopping vegetables, breaking down proteins or assembling grazing platters. Each board is laminated from individual end-wood offcuts, so width and grain pattern vary slightly between pieces, giving every board a unique finish.
