Hand stitched water jug with ice and lemon.

This piece was stitched in my usual way except that I stitched the reverse of the fabric. The face of the fabric shows the back of the stitching, which creates a looser more abstract style. Knots are on the reverse of the fabric. 

This is an original one off piece. DMC cotton embroidery thread stitched onto red and white striped Robert Kauffman Essex linen. Progress photos can be viewed on my instagram page peacocksandpinecones or message me for further details. The stitched area is approximately 3.5 x 4 inches. This piece is displayed in a 8 inch diameter (approx) Nurge embroidery hoop with the fabric gathered at the back.

I advise displaying this piece out of direct sunlight.
