THE STORY
A friend commissioned me to do an illustration with the theme of optimism, and the first thing that came to mind was the sun. What else says optimism like the sun? I was thinking about how it's always out there shining away. Maybe we can't always see it, like at night when it's shining on the other side of the earth, or a cloudy day when it's obscured from our view, but it's always up there. The words "Always Shining" came to mind, and if you look closely, you can find that phrase surround the sun.

Printed on a Royal Blue Organic Cotton Jersey T-Shirt. (7.3oz 100% Fine Jersey Ring-spun Certified Organic Cotton) A super-soft cotton shirt.

SIZING
This is a Kids shirt, and the size number relates to the age. It’s a unisex cut that looks great on boys and girls alike.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. This shirt is not made of pre-shrunk cotton, so if you're planning on putting it in the dryer, it will shrink just a little. I use water-based inks for all my prints, which are great because they sink right into the fabric instead of sitting on the surface. So they won't crack or fade, but get softer with each wash until you can't even feel them.
