For when you want to jam econo. There are five covers on this album and they fit in with the zeitgeist perfectly and add a welcome break to the Minutemen's originals which are overtly political on this release (The Urinals "Ack Ack Ack", Roky Erickson's "Bermuda", CCR's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain", BOC's "The Red and the Black", and The Meat Puppets' "Lost"). This is their most musically ambitious and acts as a transition to Watt and Hurley's next band fIREHOSE. This is not the one minute punked out jams from their earlier records. These jams are thought out and varied stylistically.
